John Blunt is acknowledged as being the most recognized Freddie Mercury Tribute artist in the world today! He was chosen to play Freddie Mercury in the 2016 iTV Bio Docudrama, The Freddie Mercury Story – Who Wants To Live Forever. Which was aired throughout Europe and America. John received worldwide glowing approval for his portrayal as Freddie, and even received a mention on Freddie Mercury’s Wikipedia page.

Born in Queensland Australia John like Freddie was also born a Virgo, honing his skills as a singer at Warner Bros Movie World. John has performed and headlined concerts/ festivals in India, New Zealand, Thailand , Macau, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, and several tours to Singapore and Norway, and of course all around Australia. Johnny is also a guest entertainer on The Royal Caribbean Cruise-ship liners. At the end of May, 2011 John was flown to France where he performed on the TV show Qui Sera Le Meilleur Sosie in front of 7 million people.

John is often referred to by world media outlets as the man with Freddie’s face.
