Meet Kate Maxhimer as Lady Gaga

A native of Minnesota, Kate Maxhimer is no stranger to the Legends in Concert family. With nearly a decade of experience performing as a singer and dancer in various Legends venues across the country, Kate has also contributed behind the scenes—assisting with ensemble dance and vocal rehearsals. Now, she proudly steps into the spotlight as a headliner, taking on the bold and multifaceted role of Lady Gaga.

Kate began her training in voice and dance at the age of 4, started classical piano lessons by 7, and by 8 was already performing in musical theatre productions. It was then that she knew the stage would be her lifelong passion.

Over the years, Kate has toured nationally, sharing her talents through performing, teaching, recording, and even judging. However, stepping into the role of Lady Gaga has given her the chance to complete one final goal on her professional bucket list: becoming an actor. Portraying Gaga allows Kate to blend all of her talents—vocal, dance, theatricality, and musicality—into a single powerhouse performance.

Kate sums up her connection to the role with a quote from Gaga’s own biography:
