Legends in Concert Announces Sizzling Summer Lineup at OWA Theater

Family fun begins with tributes to Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper and Bruno Mars in Coastal Alabama June 7

 

(Foley, Alabama) – Legends in Concert and the OWA Theater are ready to kick-off summer with a sizzling hot lineup of some of the biggest names in music. The most-awarded show in Las Vegas history, Legends in Concert, brings a pop sensation, the King of Pop, a 13-time Grammy winner and fashion icon, a 40-year pop music megastar and a little 24 karat magic, together on one stage, opening June 7. This show will feature not only the world’s greatest tribute artists, but also high energy dancers, back-up vocalists, a live band, magnificent costumes, elaborate theatrical sets, a full array of incredible special effects, and much more.

 

Fans will certainly feel the Roar of Nellie Norris’ upbeat portrayal of Katy Perry, and will find it hard to stay in their seats as they Shake Your Body down to the ground with Nae Cullors impeccable portrayal of Michael Jackson. Lady Gaga returns with a Million Reasons to see Erika Moul’s riveting performance of the Vegas Headliner, and Nellie Norris returns to prove Girls Just Want to Have Fun as Cyndi Lauper. Isaiah Mercado, as Bruno Mars, will welcome you Just The Way You Are while bringing the Uptown Funk to the summer stage and is sure to have you dancing in the aisles.

FOLEY, ALABAMA (January 25, 2022) – Legends in Concert and the OWA Theater are ready to kick-off the spring season with some of the biggest names in country music history. The longest-running and most-awarded show in Las Vegas history, Legends in Concert, will present Legends of Country this spring at the state-of-the-art OWA Theater. The show will pay tribute to four of the biggest icons and luminaries in country music, together on one stage and portrayed by the world’s greatest tribute artists.
This new production is more spectacular than ever with dazzling tributes by Stacey Whitton Summers as she pays homage to Shania Twain and Martina McBride, Shawn Gerhard as country music superstar Garth Brooks and Patrick Dunn as Elvis Presley. Elvis tribute artist fans around the country will recognize Patrick, as he is the recently crowned 2021 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion from Elvis Week in Memphis. Legends of Country will be his first and only appearance in coastal Alabama, so don’t miss out!

Entertainment and its new hit competition series “Clash of the Cover Bands”, which looks to crown the world’s best tribute artists.  “Legends in Concert” will leverage their numerous media and marketing platforms including in-theater promotion, social media channels and eblasts to promote “Clash of the Cover Bands” and the world-class talent featured on both the TV series and “Legends in Concert” stages, live, in cities across the country.  The partnership brings together powerhouses in the world of entertainment to celebrate music, pop culture and supremely talented performers.

 

Forging this partnership was natural for both Legends and E!, as out of the series’ 20 competitors, almost half regularly grace Legends in Concert’s stages. E! recently debuted its new music competition series where Stephen “tWitch” Boss serves as host and celebrity judges include global powerhouse Meghan Trainor, Grammy-nominated powerhouse singer-songwriter Adam Lambert and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Ester Dean.  In each episode, two bands of similar musical genre (e.g., Pop Divas, ’80s icons, kings of country, platinum icons, rock legends, etc.) go head-to-head over the course of two rounds to see which band has the most entertaining cover performance, with a chance to win a cash prize of $10,000 and bragging rights.
