CELEBRATE THE SEASON WITH LEGENDS IN CONCERT’S HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR AT TROPICANA LAS VEGAS
Holiday Performances Nov. 20 through Dec. 30, 2019 – Featuring Tributes to
Reba McEntire, Elvis Presley, Mariah Carey & Bono
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 13, 2019 – The award-winning cast of Legends in Concert, the longest-running show in Las Vegas at Tropicana Las Vegas, kicks off its annual holiday show Wednesday, Nov. 20 through Monday, Dec. 30, 2019.
This year’s production is more spectacular than ever with dazzling tributes to Reba McEntire, Elvis Presley, and for the first time in Legends history, Mariah Carey and Bono. Keeping with the show’s annual holiday tradition, local youth choirs and performing arts groups have also been invited to perform in the production, providing young Las Vegas talent the opportunity to perform on the historic stage in the Legends in Concert Theater.
“Legends in Concert has been a wonderful addition to Tropicana Las Vegas, and we are excited to add a little holiday spirit to the property with Legend’s all-new cast,” said Aaron Rosenthal, VP and General Manager for Tropicana Las Vegas. “We are thrilled to welcome back some Legend favorites including Reba McEntire and Elvis Presley starting on November 20, and celebrate new additions such as Mariah Carey and Bono. It will truly be a must-see show on The Strip this holiday season.”
Just as the Radio City Rockettes have become synonymous with the holiday season in New York City, the annual holiday show at Legends in Concert has become a must-see holiday festivity in Las Vegas. A dynamic blockbuster opening number begins the festivities with Brian Setzer Orchestra’s rendition of “Jingle Bells.” For the big finale, the entire cast will perform “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and the Legends band brings music memories to life with a sensational tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo” (“Carol of the Bells”), that brings the magic of the season to Las Vegas.
“The Heart Won’t Lie” as audiences fall in love with Corrie Sachs and her dynamic tribute to Reba McEntire, as she sings her biggest hits while also performing as emcee for the evening. Jass Meagher will be everyone’s “Hero” as she pays homage to Mariah Carey for the first time ever on a Legends stage. The sensational catalogue of U2 will fill guests with “Pride” as Pavel Sfera rocks the house with his uncanny performance as the one and only Bono. It would be a “Blue Christmas” without the King of Rock ‘n Roll in Vegas, so he arrives back in the building with Bill Cherry’s mesmerizing portrayal of Elvis Presley. The production is packed with not only the signature hits of these Legends, but some of the best holiday classics that celebrate the season.
This very special holiday production at Legends in Concert begins Nov. 20 and continues through December 30. Legends in Concert performs at Tropicana Las Vegas Monday through Saturday (dark Sunday) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $49.99 (excluding tax and fees).
