MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA, October 26, 2021 – Las Vegas’ longest running and most-awarded tribute show, is ready to celebrate the holidays as they launch their 26TH Holiday show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Legends in Concert opened its doors on the Grand Strand in 1995 and has been consistently met with excitement and enthusiastic crowds at its shows for years. The holiday lineup of performers begins on November 3, 2021.

The Legends Christmas Spectacular, at its namesake theater, will pay tribute to music royalty including Aretha Franklin, Reba McEntire, The Blues Brothers and Elvis PresleyJust as the Radio City Rockettes have become synonymous with the holiday season in New York City, the annual Holiday show at Legends in Concert has become part of the season’s celebrations in locations around the country.  A dynamic, blockbuster opening number begins the festivities with The Brian Setzer Orchestra’s rendition of “Jingle Bells.”  For the big finale, the Legends band brings music memories to life with a sensational tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo” (“Carol of the Bells”) and the entire cast will join them and perform “Oh Holy Night and Joy To The World.”   The magical sounds of the season are sure to fill the Legends in Concert Theater halls throughout the Christmas holidays.

“We are thrilled to launch the annual holiday version of our show in Myrtle Beach, and present some new acts and new production elements to guests visiting the area, as well as for our amazingly supportive locals,” said Brian Brigner, Chief Operating Officer of Legends in Concert.  “The show will feature signature hits from the stars that made them legendary, and holiday songs they recorded during their illustrious careers.”

Denita Asberry makes a triumphant return to the beach and will present the powerhouse vocals you will “Respect” of Aretha Franklin, while Corrie Sachs will make her local debut to pay homage to loveable Reba McEntire.   Your favorite Soul Men, The Blues Brothers™ return for the holidays after a fall hiatus, featuring Dan Meisner and Kenny Barret and all their comedic exploits.  Elvis is back in the building, as Patrick Dunn, the recently crowned 2021 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion from Elvis Week in Memphis, makes his first and only appearance ever on the Grand Strand.

This very special holiday production at the Legends Theater begins Nov. 3 and continues through January 1.  The theater has developed robust safety measures for all areas of the theater, that focuses on your safety and the health and safety of our staff and cast members.  The Holiday Spectacular will perform Monday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with additional matinee shows available at 2 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Saturdays. Adult tickets are on sale starting at $39.95 (+taxes/fees) and Child (ages 4-12) tickets starting at $22.95 (+taxes/fees).
