Biography

Ashley Dawn is a seasoned vocalist with a rich musical heritage rooted in country, bluegrass, and southern gospel. Born in Missouri’s picturesque Ozarks, she began singing in church at age 6, surrounded by a musically inclined family that nurtured her talent.

She secured a Nashville record deal at 17 and toured the US with her siblings in the southern gospel trio, The Praters, performing approximately 200 concerts annually and honing her craft.

Following a hiatus to raise a family, Ashley resumed her musical pursuits in 2017, driven by a renewed passion for her art.

She was contracted as the lead vocalist for the touring 135th Army Band, Aftershock, and subsequently joined Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers, the founding show in Branson that showcased her impressive range. Ashely is thrilled to join the cast of Legends in Concert for the 2025 season.

Ashley received the prestigious Female Vocalist of the Year award at the Branson Terry Music Awards in 2022.

She has also had the privilege of performing the National Anthem at the PBR rodeo for the past three years, inspiring patriotism and pride in her audiences.

Ashley enjoys performing as a solo artist and occasionally with her daughter, Lakoda, allowing her to continually develop her musical skills and creativity while sharing her passion with the next generation.
