Biography

Originally from Toronto Canada, Joe has been a tribute artist for the past 8 years doing homage to Jerry Lee Lewis, John Lennon and Barry Manilow.

Passion’s portrayal of “The Killer” combines the energy and excitement of Jerry Lee Lewis with the humor and bravado of Dennis Quaid, featured in the film Great Balls Of Fire! Passion recreates the fifties and seventies eras of this rock and roll legend, with real fire and piano pounding expertise.

For Lennon, Joe honors the icon by playing guitar and performing songs from the Beatle Catalog such as “Twist and Shout,” “Revolution,” “Hard Days Night” and “Help” as well as classics from John’s solo years like “Imagine,” “Starting Over,” “Woman” and “Stand By Me.” Passion’s Barry Manilow tribute features all-time-favorites like “I Write the Songs,” “Mandy” and “Copa” plus more up-tempo hits, such as “Bandstand,” “New York City Rhythm” and “It’s a Miracle.”

Joe has toured across the USA, Canada, Australia, the Caribbean and Europe in a variety of tribute style shows.

In his early days Passion performed as opening act for: THE WHO, PROCAL HAREM, THE BAND, JOHNNY WINTER, SHA-NA-NA, POCO and JIM MESSINA.

Passion has recorded original songs for the following labels; A&M, K-TEL, CASINO RECORDS, SMILE RECORDS & ARCTIC EAGLE and has songs published with; WARNER CHAPPELL, MUSICAL FRIENDS & GIBBON MUSIC.
