Rob Caudill doesn’t just impersonate Rod Stewart—he becomes him. With his unmistakable spiked blonde hair, raspy voice, leopard-skin coats, and high-energy stage presence, Rob channels the rock legend so convincingly that fans frequently do double takes. From airports to arenas, people stop him, stare, and even ask for autographs, convinced they’ve just encountered the real Rod Stewart.
A Memphis-based musician, Rob’s career began shortly after high school when he moved to Memphis, Tennessee to study music at Memphis State University. He played bass guitar for several bands, including the RCA-signed The Breaks, whose single “She Wants You” gained traction on MTV and was featured in Bugle Boy Clothing’s first TV commercial.
It wasn’t long before industry insiders noticed something more than just his musical talent—Rob looked and sounded remarkably like Rod Stewart. While doing session work with Joe Walsh of The Eagles, Rob was encouraged to pursue a tribute career. He took the leap, swapping his bass guitar for a microphone stand—and the rest is history.
Since 1996, Rob has dazzled audiences around the globe with his Rod Stewart tribute, mastering every nuance of Stewart’s vocal style, swagger, and signature moves. From China and Malaysia to Canada and the U.S., he has wowed fans with energetic renditions of more than 60 Stewart classics, including “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” and “Forever Young.”
On stage, Rob captures the heart, soul, and spirit of Rod Stewart—swinging his mic stand, kicking soccer balls into the crowd, and belting out hits with raw energy and charisma.
Today, Rob Caudill stars in Legends in Concert, where he continues to live his dream performing one of the most electrifying tributes in the industry. As Rob puts it best:
“I’ve got the greatest job in the world—making a living doing something I love.”
