Scotsman Rus Anderson is Elton John’s official body double for his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ world tour media.
Growing up in Scottish theater and having been the frontman for an original band in the UK, Rus has performed his full-time tribute to the Rocket Man in the USA since 2009, recreating a young Elton’s live persona and flamboyance with killer vocals and fierce piano playing. Rus’ painstaking attention to detail includes wearing gorgeous and colorful costumes actually worn by Elton, including his iconic boots, glasses and jumpsuits from 1973!

Most recently, Rus was recognized and hand picked by Elton John and David Furnish to recreate many moments of Elton’s live career including his first US show at The Troubadour in 1970 and the famous Dodger Stadium concert in 1975. These videos and photos are on the big screen behind Elton throughout his farewell tour concerts, as well as in the official merchandise.

Having joined the company in 2014, Rus is extremely excited to perform nightly with Legends in Concert.
