Biography

Sally Olson, a Vermont native, moved to Las Vegas in 2018 to further her show- Carpenters Tribute Concert: A Re-creation of the 1976 UK Tour. She is a cum laude graduate of Middlebury College and studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School. Sally debuted her Carpenters tribute show in January 2015, and made her NYC debut at the Triad Theater on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in April 2017. In late January 2018, Sally first visited Las Vegas where she worked with acclaimed pianist and entertainer Ned Mills who now stars as Richard Carpenter in her show and also has his own tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis.

Randy Schmidt, author of Little Girl Blue: The Life of Karen Carpenter, has said that “Sally’s tribute to Karen Carpenter is heartfelt and honest” and Dave Halston of Tribute Masters says, “Sally is remarkable, spot-on, and delightfully entertaining.” Sally is truly unsurpassed in her startling representation of Karen Carpenter and captures the essence of the late singer right down to her hairstyles, costumes, makeup, gestures and voice.

Carpenters Tribute Concert, the world’s only authentic Carpenters tribute act in sight and sound, was selected to be the featured entertainment for the Carpenters 50th Anniversary Celebration in Thousand Oaks, California in April 2019. Sally is thrilled to join the Legends in Concert family as their first ever Karen Carpenter tribute artist.
