Hang on to your chair while Tim Stamper and Kenny Barret rock and stomp their way into your heart in a frenzy-filled tribute to the Blues Brothers. Audiences can’t help it. They yell, stamp, scream, and generally whoop it up as this dynamic duo hits the stage building momentum with the ferocity of a speeding train.
Tim and Ken do more than a celebrity impersonation in John Stuart’s award-winning live tribute show Legends in Concert. They recreate two legendary comics in a high-energy emulation of the famous twosome’s most memorable roles.
From “Can’t Turn you Loose,” to the hand-clapping medley “Now Do You Love Me-Land of a Thousand Dances” to “Shout,” this Blues Brothers act captivates one and all with its electric performance.
Tim, the original “half” of the Blues Brothers worked with other partners before finding Ken and auditioned a lot of performers to fill out the team. “There were a lot of guys who answered my ad in the paper,” Tim says, “But, after I saw Ken’s audition, I stopped right there. Nobody could do the Aykroyd bit better. He helped give me the total team feel I needed.
The Stamper-Barret team is an exact copy of the nostalgic Blues Brothers with their gymnastic choreography, zany songs and comedy.
