Legends in Concert and Liberty Unveil New EV Charging Stations in Branson, Missouri
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Set for November 13 at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater
BRANSON, MO (November 13, 2023) – Legends in Concert and Liberty, a national utility leader, are excited to announce the installation of three new Dual Port ChargePoint electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Legends in Concert Theater, located at 1600 W. 76 Country Blvd. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m., marking a major step forward in green energy accessibility in the heart of Branson’s entertainment district.
Part of Liberty’s National Ready Charge Program
This new installation is only the third in Liberty’s Ready Charge program, a nationwide initiative launched in October 2022 to expand smart Level-2 and direct-current fast charging infrastructure at publicly accessible sites.
The three dual-port stations can serve up to six electric vehicles simultaneously. As part of the largest national EV charging network, these ChargePoint stations provide 24/7 driver support and real-time monitoring to ensure consistent performance.
Strategic Location Offers Convenience for Locals and Tourists
The decision to install charging stations at Legends in Concert’s Branson theater provides both strategic value and community benefit. Located near Highway 65 and central to Branson’s bustling 76 Strip, the site ensures easy access for both residents and tourists visiting the city’s vibrant entertainment venues.
A Greener Experience for Theater Guests
“We are extremely excited to offer our theater guests the opportunity to park and charge their cars while attending one of our world-famous Legends in Concert performances,” said Jeannie Horton, General Manager of Legends in Concert in Branson. “It has been a pleasure to partner with Liberty on this project, and we are honored to be the first theater in Branson to offer this great service.”
